I can't seem to get out of the labor field and I burned the bridges to all my scholarly references when I left grad school abruptly and without warning.I met with a USMC recruiter about OCS and nearly decided to go through with it but was convinced by my friends to move out west with them instead.In all honesty I don't want to be an officer and being an enlisted man seems more natural. But seriously, smart people don't do well in the Army, especially combat, especially enlisted, so avoid it if you can.
