The valley of flowers is place everyone will certainly and entirely love. I carried home tonnes of great memories from the trip that I will cherish for my life.

Due to time constraint I could not visit the latter. But Thrillophilia helped in getting ready especially since my train to Haridwar was delayed but the people on the ground managed the situation without affecting the schedule.

Hemkund was tougher trek but no issues faced other than sore legs. Valley of Flowers Place is totally serine with beauty close to heaven. This richly diverse area is also home to rare and endangered animals, including the Asiatic black bear, snow leopard, musk deer, brown bear, red fox and blue sheep. In triund is all the nature you can experience at once. In contrast to Hemkund , here you have to trek along a rugged terrain but it is worth it. You can see thousands species of flowers there. First were skeptical about how the trip would be manged by them as it was our first time plus everyone was about 50 year age but once we reached there evrything looked well managed and the staff was very nice and friendly. We parked our car at the parking lot and hired a jeep to take us up to the place where one starts the trek. While the chirpy young kept the team charged, the conviction of the others was inspirational to the rest.
They explained everything to us very nicely. The valley is also so big that we can not cover the entire valley as we get tired. We did Vof first followed by hemkund the next day. Can you imagine millions of species of flowers such as saxifrags, sediams, lilies, poppy, calendular, daisies, geranium, zinnia and petunia all at one place!!! And with the responsible and experienced guides, nice and decent hotel accommodation makes it worth each penny you pay towards the trip. The trek spans over six days, covering a distance of 38 km. The trek(mule ride), the hospitality at the Gurudwara were breathtaking. Had a wonderful experience with the trek in Aug 2019. The falLeh Ladakh reminds us of the serenic beauty and all that nature has to offer us in its best and purest form. !If you want to see heaven, you should visit "valley of flower". For the huge altitude gain on VOF trek you have to make sure your lungs are strong enough to acclimatise to thin air. vally is very beautifull and it was my chilhood dream came true as i entered in the vally. The trek to Ghangaria was manageable with just distance being the obstacle. Serene Nature, Splendid weather, a great company of cousins, new friends we made and the team who lead the trek made a perfect mixture to cherish. We could see people of all age groups from 3 to 70+ trek all the way from Govindghat to Hemkund Saheb, carrying children and luggage on shoulders and sometime on mules. To give you a perspective, the Valley of Flowers trek is 38 km long. It indeed is my guarantee that people will make a lifetime memories here.
