Because we use a higher percentage of power during the day, the 30% will offset the night-time usage as well as the FIT.

posted 2019-May-24, 10:13 am AEST Just said I had a solar system on the online form.I considered this.. but seeing as it's a 24 month deal time signed up with only my small existing system is money down the drain.At one stage, an operator put a note on my account saying that I wanted to switch to that plan but the system wouldn't let me – they seemed to suggest that the note might have allowed me to swap to it if the plan had been discontinued.

I can see how TOU/smart meter could be a big advantage for people with a battery.AGL has updated their app it now shows your solar details. Is there a way I can work this out?If you can give me the following, I can see what my spreadsheet says.As mentioned before, the spreadsheet I have is based on T11. ?They just aren't well enough organised to do that and as revealed in the depths of this thread, you will get a different answer from everyone you ask.The end result is that it's a clause that they could enforce but there is no indication that they ever have done.ok good to know. Smart Meter reading via SAPN also shows zero because it is zero. They actually lowered my rates on Jan 1st, it was only about 1% and I wouldn't expect it again but at least they move the rates both ways. The meter prior was a smart meter so I'm baffled why they have no data for that either.They screwed up my first 2 months too..

For instance, Energy Australia who have a low usage rate and decent FiT.We absolutely smashed the aircon every day in January too.With a 15kW of panels I'm not surprised you have such a big credit.With 6.5kW panels/5kW inverter and a ducted AC that burns 5kW, I try not to run it.The wife run an small wall mounted system that only burns 5-600W in her home office.I'll have to see about adding another solar system before I fire up the ducted AC.I wonder whether there's a penalty if you keep on switching providers once every 6 months or so lolIn Qld there isn't any lock-in.
