The answer popularly given to the question Pakistan ka matlab kya is symbolic, however the correct question & answer should be Pakistan Ka Maqsad Kia (not Matlab), the answer is obviously Islam.It is wrong to say that Pakistan was created for Islam, In fact Pakistan was created for a minority (that happened to be Muslim) which expected equal rights and opportunities in undivided India, but it came into existence when those rights were denied.
