The Kalamazoo Optimist Hockey Association (KOHA), established in 1965, is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to provide every boy and girl in southwest Michigan the opportunity to enjoy at excel at the game of hockey. Our hockey events are some of the best in the industry! We (think we) are getting close! Select Canadian or other foreign teams if you’re looking for a tournament that might have both USA and other foreign teams; Select the type of tournament you’re looking for: Invitational, 3 on 3, 4 on 4 or Cross-Ice jamboree.
These events are invitational, recreational, non-check tournaments held in destination locations. From Learn To Skate through high school-aged players, KOHA has programs for everyone! USA Hockey's Adult Ice Hockey Department and Adult Council will once again have a full slate of Labatt Blue Adult Classic tournaments for the 2019-20 season. As of March 11, 2020, all USA Hockey Nationals have been canceled due to the coronavirus. Nearly 70 events across 15 cities, we hope to see your team this year!

News. KOHA SUMMER DEVELOPMENT CLINICS… The Sawyer Baliff Memorial Scholarship will provide merit based scholarship(s) that the honoree can apply to their KOHA fees the following season. A variety of divisions are offered for both men and women 21 years of age and older and all players must be currently registered with USA Hockey.
