In this movie we see the story of unconditional love between a father and daughter. With Irrfan Khan, Radhika Madan, Kareena Kapoor, Deepak Dobriyal. The last 20 mins was a bit hodge podge and missed the track slightly going off the track frim script and end wasnt that impactful but Overlooking the flaws slightly here and there the film is a full too entertainer and deserves to be watched in the cinemas. It will not be able to keep its distributors in a happy zone, and this is not just because of the attendance in cinemas being adversely affected due to the coronavirus scare and the closure of cinemas ordered in some parts of India.The chief problem is a laboured plot, meandering about trying to hoover up too many things at the same time. The film looks for comic energy and dramatic highs but to no avail.

But as the principal premise for the redoubtable Irrfan's first big screen appearance in over a year and a half, it isn't up to scratch.Radhika Madan, in her third Bollywood outing, makes a fair fist of the role of a small-town girl with a big-time dream, but the wildly conflicting impulses that the screenplay imposes upon the character undermines the overall impact of the performance. Irreplaceable indeed. You can’t help feeling especially appreciative knowing that he made the film while critically unwell.The screenplay also reflects on teen rebellion and generation gap. The crazy extremes he goes through to make it happen is what drives Homi Adajania’s new film as well as brings it down.At the end of its ensuing pandemonium and abundant melodrama, Angrezi Medium reveals little understanding of ambitious learners or parenting woes.Like Raj from Hindi Medium, Champak too can barely speak English, a language that continues to have aspirational value across India.

More than the film, it is Irrfan that the flaccid, wayward script lets down.The supporting actors, too, have reason to feel hard done by, Deepak Dobriyal not the least among them. The moral of the movies is great.. and Great acting of Irrfan was great.. but acting of the daughter could have been better... 4 out of 4 found this helpful. If The screenplay simply does not measure up to the demands that the actor makes on it. He's the best at whatever he's upto. Such was his grip over the deliverable that everyone would melt into and associate with his character, executed with mastery, integrity, depth and warmth, always! Irrfan Khan's son Babil Khan takes a walk down the memo...There are some fantastic moments in the film, and sharply written scenes between the characters, too, which in turn, prove to be the highlights of this drama. Last time too, all the actors gave a strong performance.
Whole movie is handled by him.
Money too is not the driving force of this plot.

However, Champak and Gopi's Other attempts at comedy include two scenes in which the brothers drink cheap liquor with Gajju (Sharda) and launch into a competitive guilt trip, confessing to the litany of wrongs one has committed against the other.
