Our client is a well established and successful Mechanical Engineering and Design consulting firm that provides Engineering services tailored to meet the needs of their diverse customers. Services include engineering, 2D/3D design and drafting, FEA, design automation, CAD/IT, technical 3D animation, and technical manuals.

IT Project Manager

Velocity Staff, Inc. is currently seeking a talented Project Management professional to join our team on a long term contract basis to support innovative projects with our Kansas City, MO based client.  The right candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, executive team members, IT and fellow PMO team mates to execute project management processes and methodologies for the IT division, ensuring that project deliverables are completed on time, within budget.
Focus will be on the delivery of large scale software development projects that are critical across the business enterprise. Heavy collaboration with multiple client locations and executive team members including executive level communication and presentations will be critical to the success of this role. Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies are all utilized within the organization.

Technical Support Technician-Remote

Velocity Staff, Inc. is working with our client located in Kansas City, KS to identify a Technical Support Specialist to join their Support Services team on a 6-month contract for hire opportunity. The Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support of computer software and hardware products and services and use existing processes and tools to proactively support office staff and equipment.

The right candidate will have the flexility to work from remote from home after a short training period on site at the client location in Kansas City, KS with some visits to the office as needed.  This position comes available as the organization is expanding its support services team due to company expansion which has provided more opportunity for growth for the team and team members.
